The Controlled and Guaranteed Denomination of Origin (DOCG) Valdobbiadene represents the pinnacle of Italian winemaking tradition and art, celebrated for its refined and high-quality sparkling wines.
Our company, located in this prestigious region, is a witness and protagonist of this story of excellence. The hills of Valdobbiadene were already recognized for their beauty and the quality of their wines. Over time, viticulture consolidated as the main activity of the area. The techniques of cultivation and production of wine were perfected, laying the foundations for the production of Valdobbiadene DOCG as we know it today; obtaining recognition and fame at an international level, culminating in 2009 with the recognition of DOCG. And in 2019 the recognition as a UNESCO heritage site.

Alfonso (from which the name “Fonso”): born in 1912 in Saccol, the little village where our winery now stands. Alfonso Rebuli has always worked the steep vineyard with great dedication, what today we can call heroic viticulture.
Maria (also called “ Marieta ” from which she got the nickname “Ieta”): born in 1912 in Cison di Valmarino, she was displaced during the Second World War and moved to Valdobbiadene where at the age of 22 she met Alfonso. The two married and founded the roots of the Rebuli family , giving birth to their son Angelo.
Grandma Maria always helped Alfonso, working the land and taking care of all the animals in the small stable. Later, even when she was old, she helped out in the small cellar.
Angelo: born in 1937 and since his youth he has worked with his parents in their small farm, in the vineyard, in the fields and in the stable. At the age of 18 he emigrated to Switzerland to work in construction sites and, when he returned to Italy, he worked for a few years in a marble company.
In ’67 he married Anna Maria and started a new family.
