A TREASURE TO PRESERVE
The Prosecco Superiore di Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG area features a series of hilly reliefs separated by a series of valleys crossed by small watercourses. Protected to the north by the Prealps and gently cuddled by the mild climate of the nearby Venice Lagoon, this region has cultivated vines since ancient times, with a winemaking history dating back to the 6th century.
The soils of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene area are the result of complex tectonic transformations that began over 100 million years ago, when the area was covered by the sea. The seabed accumulated layers of dolomitic limestone, followed by marl and clay deposits between 40 and 25 million years ago, and subsequently by sandstones, marls and conglomerates up to 5 million years ago.
A coral reef, now transformed into the carbonate massif of the Treviso Prealps, played a crucial role in the emergence of the seabed due to the pressure exerted by the African and European tectonic plates. During the Tertiary period, the sea gradually receded, first forming a lagoon and later giving rise to east-west oriented ridges.
These ridges were shaped by climatic forces, which eroded the softer materials and exposed a cord-like structure made up of resilient conglomerates and sandstones. Over time, fluvial erosion further sculpted the landscape, carving deep valleys. For instance, the area south of Vittorio Veneto is linked to the Lapisino branch of the Piave glacier, with additional fluvioglacial deposits on its margins.
The diverse materials deposited on the ancient seabed have given rise to soils with several characteristics, affecting vine root distribution and water availability. Combined with unique local microclimates, this geological diversity plays a fundamental role in shaping the distinct expressions of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG wines.
CENTURIES OF HISTORY
The birth of Valdobbiadene DOCG
Since the late 18th century, Prosecco has been produced in these hills, earning recognition such as “Prosecco dei Colli di Conegliano Valdobbiadene” (DOC) in 1969 and elevated to DOCG in 2009. This land is also the cradle of the first Italian Wine Route, established in 1966.
The sparkling wine is made in tanks using the Martinotti method, a system that highlights the specific characteristics of the sparkling wine from this area to the highest potential.
The Extra Brut, Brut, Extra Dry and Dry versions differ in their residual sugar content.
The Extra Brut completely without sugar. The Brut, drier and with fresh and fruity aromas, with hints of citrus. The Extra Dry is the traditional version that combines aroma with a lighter softness. The Dry is characterized by a higher sugar residue, with more complex aromas and a greater fullness of taste.
The Superiore di Cartizze DOCG
Cartizze DOCG is a wine produced in a sub-zone regulated since 1969, covering just 107 hectares of vineyards it is located between the steepest hills of San Pietro di Barbozza, Santo Stefano and Saccol, in the municipality of Valdobbiadene. This area is characterized by a perfect combination of ideal microclimate and ancient soils where even today we easily find fossils, which give Cartizze DOCG its unique qualities. All this makes it the most suitable micro-zone for the cultivation of Glera combined with vineyards that are over 40 years old.

The distinct mention “Rive” represents an emblem of exclusivity and superior quality in the world of wine. IN THE AREA OF SUPERIOR PROSECCO
Rebuli independently takes care of the precious lands
Our company extends over 60 hectares in the prestigious area of Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG, a region renowned for its production of Prosecco Superiore. These lands, located between rolling hills and breathtaking views, represent the beating heart of our wine production. Every hectare of Valdobbiadene tells a story of excellence and tradition.
We also own another 15 hectares in the Asolo DOCG area, representing a further chapter in our history. Asolo, with its favorable climate and mineral-rich soil, is an ideal place for growing high-quality grapes. These vineyards allow us to diversify and enrich our wine production.
Where every operation is done by hand
This choice reflects our dedication to quality and respect for tradition. Manual care of the vines allows us to carefully monitor each phase of the growth cycle, ensuring that each bunch reaches its maximum potential.
Fertilization is 100% natural
In our vineyards we follow the SQNPI quality/certification scheme (Integrated Production National Quality System), which certifies our sustainable viticulture practices. For example, fertilization is 100% natural and we do not use synthetic chemical products.
This scheme ensures that all stages of production meet rigorous environmental standards, minimising ecological impact and promoting biodiversity.
We avoid dispersion and drifts into the environment
Our commitment to sustainability is a constant throughout our company, ensuring that every stage of production respects the environment and contributes to the protection of our natural heritage. In the Asolo DOCG area, thanks to the sub-flat conformation of the territory, we use a particular technology that allows us to recover a good percentage of plant protection products.
